The HEY Wellbeing Collective is expanding into workplace wellbeing, connecting businesses across Hull & East Yorkshire with a growing network of local wellbeing specialists.
The HEY Wellbeing Collective has launched a new workplace wellbeing offering designed to help organisations create happier, healthier and more connected workplaces while generating new opportunities for independent wellbeing businesses across the region.
Under the banner ‘Workplace Wellbeing, Reimagined’, the Collective will work with employers to develop flexible wellbeing programmes shaped around the needs of their people, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Founded by Paige Daniel, The HEY Wellbeing Collective brings together independent wellbeing professionals and businesses from across Hull & East Yorkshire, spanning areas including physical and mental wellbeing, movement, lifestyle, holistic practices, inclusion, creativity, connection and personal development.
The new workplace offering will enable businesses to access this breadth of expertise through one coordinated point of contact.
The programme has been developed around the Collective's belief that wellbeing looks different to everyone.
Rather than focusing solely on individual workshops or awareness days, HEY will work alongside organisations to understand their workforce, identify priorities and build a programme that can develop over time.
Support can include interactive workshops, short wellbeing toolbox talks, one-to-one wellbeing clinics, awareness campaigns and larger wellbeing events, with activities available both on-site and online.
Organisations can also begin with an initial three-month pilot, providing an opportunity to explore different approaches before developing a longer-term wellbeing programme.
As well as supporting employees, the initiative has been designed to create greater opportunities for the region's independent wellbeing sector.
By acting as the link between employers and local specialists, The HEY Wellbeing Collective aims to make it easier for businesses to access a diverse range of expertise without having to independently source and coordinate multiple providers.
For Collective members, it creates another route into the workplace market and opportunities to share their expertise with employees across Hull & East Yorkshire.
Paige Daniel, Founder of The HEY Wellbeing Collective, said:
“From the beginning, the Collective has been built around the belief that wellbeing looks different to everyone, and I believe our workplaces should reflect that too.
There's so many brilliant wellbeing expertise here in Hull & East Yorkshire, but for organisations, finding and coordinating different providers can be difficult. By bringing that expertise together, we can give employers one trusted point of contact while still offering their people access to a really diverse range of support.
We don't want to simply deliver a workshop and disappear. We want to work alongside organisations, listen to their people and create wellbeing programmes that continue to evolve with them.
What I'm particularly excited about is the impact this can have on both sides. We're helping local organisations invest in the wellbeing of their people while creating more opportunities for independent wellbeing businesses within our region.”
The launch marks the next stage in the development of The HEY Wellbeing Collective as it continues its wider mission of bringing businesses, communities and wellbeing professionals together to support a happier and healthier Hull & East Yorkshire.
HEY Workplace Wellbeing is now open to businesses and organisations interested in exploring a more flexible and collaborative approach to supporting their workforce.
