No. There are lots of businesses exhibiting that offer services to people such as.
It’s not ethical to sell and promote your business when the stand holders have paid to exhibit. Â
It is, however, good, and encouraged, to connect, engage and support the stand holders.
If, however, you do want to exhibit then please email hello@thebchey.net for more information.

You are expected to not start packing away your stand until 3:30pm. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit/financial penalty of £50 + vat. This will be given to a local charity of our choice.
You must take everything away with you – rubbish and all.
Hull4Heroes will be providing lunch on the 2nd floor of Princes Quay between 11:30am – 2pm
Please let us know of any dietary restrictions.
No refunds are available for any cancellation except on very extreme circumstances.
You are responsible for your own safety while at your stand. You must have a valid and up to date Public Liability Insurance and Risk Assessments for your own stand.
Princes Quay is fully accessible for disabled visitors including disabled toilets. Â
At all exhibitions, visitors like to receive gifts so, make sure you think about what to bring. The last thing you want is your hard-earned money being discarded in the bin. Make your freebies relevant and interesting and something that will be used over and over again. It goes without saying that all your freebies should be branded.
This is a massive point. The team you bring on the day should be engaging, confident, know what you do and offer, be presentable and be happy smiley people.
Your people should be briefed, they should have a clear message and understand your objectives.
Some do-nots. Chewing gum, on their mobiles, eating at the stand and inappropriate clothing for your brand.
Bringing the wrong people and it can damage your brand.Â
Greet visitors warmly and encourage them to explore your stand and products. Facial expressions are important, make sure your team is smiling and responding to what the visitor is saying.
It is important to remember that’s it’s not just about talking, listen to what your visitors are saying and asking for.
Overstaffed stands may look crowded and discourage people from visiting, it could look intimidating.
Don’t forget to take pictures of your stand during the show. Photograph your stand when it’s busy, include different angles, key features and graphics. Capture visitors interacting with staff etc. Share photos during the event on your main social media platforms, using the official show hashtag - #HullBizExpo.
It will be a busy day, so it is very important that you and your staff take lunch and regular breaks.
Make sure you note down all the details of the person to whom you have spoken. What services they were interested in? What company they work for? How you promised to contact them?
Marketing does not end after the exhibition. The sooner you follow up with your leads the better the chance of turning them into sales. Try to stay in touch and send follow up emails within one week.
