After months of planning, we were delighted to announce the rebranding of Promobox at the East Yorkshire Expo last week and show it to the public for the first time. We couldn't have been more heartened by the response.
For years, and increasingly over the lockdown period, we have been reflecting on the worst excesses of the promotions industry and asking ourselves if we wanted to continue offering them. The answer was a resounding NO and so Planet Promo was born.
Focussing on more sustainable ranges of merchandise, our purpose is to help our customers make better decisions today than they did yesterday and then to make even better ones tomorrow. We are not zealots who spend our weekends gluing ourselves to the M25 (though we may hug the odd tree occasionally!) and we are certainly not perfect in our own business. But we are committed to doing better ourselves.
We believe our customers want to do better too, but often lack the information needed to make informed choices. Our mission, therefore, is to give people access to that information so they can make the desired improvements.
Sustainability for us is not an end destination, but a never-ending journey that we are all on. Some are activists in the vanguard , fighting every day for the health of the planet, others are still on the start line reluctant to move, but the vast majority of us are somewhere in between, trying to be less wasteful, more environmentally aware but not always sure how.
