Ellie Birch, founder of Hedon based bespoke cake business Elliegantly Made, is celebrating exciting news after being named a Regional Finalist in the prestigious I Do Wedding Awards 2026.
The announcement marks another milestone for Ellie, who has spent the past decade building a multi award winning business known for its elegant wedding cakes, bespoke corporate creations, and exceptional customer service.
This is not the first time Ellie has been recognised by the awards, having also reached the finals in 2025, further highlighting the consistency and high standards she brings to every project.

The I Do Wedding Awards celebrate excellence across the wedding industry, bringing together top suppliers from across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Midlands. Finalists are selected from a highly competitive field, making this achievement a significant honour.
Ellie has already secured her place at the awards ceremony, which will take place at the iconic Cutlers’ Hall in Sheffield in May 2026. The evening promises a celebration of talent, dedication and passion within the industry.
“Whether I win or not, just getting to this stage is something I’m incredibly proud of,” she adds. “I’m really looking forward to celebrating alongside so many amazing businesses.”
