ACA were thrilled to host a group of curious and creative pupils from Clifton Primary School recently, as part of their visit through The Children’s University programme.
The visit gave the children a fun and inspiring introduction to the world of architecture and interior design. Designers Kornel and Tony from the ACA team shared how buildings come to life—from the first ideas right through to the finished spaces we live, work and learn in. They also talked about how good design can make a real difference to people’s lives and wellbeing.
One of the highlights of the day was the hands-on ‘spaghetti marshmallow tower challenge’, where the pupils teamed up to build the tallest possible structure using just spaghetti, tape, and marshmallows. The activity got everyone thinking creatively and working together—there were lots of laughs and some seriously impressive towers!
Team members Kornel and Tony said "we were blown away by the children’s enthusiasm, thoughtful questions, and brilliant ideas. Experiences like this are all about showing young people the exciting paths that careers in architecture and design can lead to".
