CAD Technician
Working in partnership with a family run company in Hull. We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. This is a permanent position with a salary up to £33,000 DOE
Shift pattern / Working hours
Monday to Friday 40 per week 8 am to 4:30pm
Start date / Duration
CAD Technician will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around this. This is permanent position.
Job description
- Develop and produce Quality CAD drawings and models using software such as AutoCAD, Audesk Inventer and Sketchup.
- Collaborate with colleagues and customers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations by providing technical drawings.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design processes.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and best practices to enhance productivity.

The successful candidate:
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD,
- Proficiency in sketchup and Inventer would be advantageous .
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
