When you walk through the doors of our city centre campus, you will experience our specialist facilities. Whether it’s the hair and beauty students perfecting the latest looks in Salon QG or the catering students cooking up a feast at our on-campus restaurant, HU1 Riverside, there is a whole host of vocational options to explore and help develop your skills or your business.
With programmes available from entry right through to Master’s level qualifications, we offer a wide range of technical and professional qualifications. We pride ourselves on our commitment to preparing our students for the world of work, which is why we place so much emphasis on developing employability skills alongside qualifications. In addition we work with a wide range of employers across the "HU area" providing the right skills, to the right people, at the right time.
The college’s main campus is located in the heart of the city’s historic old town, with satellite sites at Cannon Street, the Steve Prescott Centre and Portobello Street housing dedicated facilities for motor vehicle, fabrication, sport, public services and construction. Alongside these we also have the Hull School of Art and Design and the Alex Henderson Building which are dedicated spaces for the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries and the Faculty of Management, Health and Technology. Many of our employer-related programmes can also be delivered at employer's premises, satellite centres, or through distance learning, providing a flexible alternative for those with busy working lives.
