On Monday we took off our whites and have donned our walking shoes to head out on a weeks walking challenge raising funds for the Clinical Trails Department at Castle Hill Hospital.
Ray suffers from IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) and we are taking on The Yorkshire Wolds Way which is an 80 mile walk from Hessle finishing at Filey Brigg and so far we have walked nearly half the distance.  Starting on Monday in torrential rain we walked from Hessle to South Cave.  Tuesday was supposed to be better weather but proved even worse with driving rain and gale force winds for our walk to Market Weighton. I’m happy to report that not only did we stated out dry today but also the sun actually came out for our walk from Market Weighton to Millington.
If you would like to read more of our journey the link to our blog is… raysyww4ipf.blogspot.com and we would like to raise as much money as possible so if you can spare anything at all our JustGiving page is https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/raysyww?utm_term=MQ52M3yPb
