Software development apprentice Jack Batty has earned another distinction grade for completing a Visual Basic module that counts towards a BTEC in Software Development. This training was completed with our apprenticeship and training partner Baltic.
During his time as an apprentice at The One Point, Jack has had the opportunity to get hands-on experience working with real-world challenges brought to us by our customers, much of this work involves the development of custom apps which Jack has worked on independently. A big part of this opportunity is a chance to gain a qualification while gaining experience and gain a broad understanding of the role of software developer.
Our Lead Software Architect David Carr says, "I'm really happy to see Jack continue to progress, he is working hard to achieve these results and is keen to apply the knowledge in his work".
