Continued growth in the business sees RedFez moving to a new bigger location in the west of Hull.
Having spent two and a half years at the home of Hull Kingston Rovers, Craven Park, RedFez has now moved to the Louis Pearlman Centre just off Hessle Road and a stones throw from the A63.
"We knew that this year we would probably have to move to bigger premises" says Company Director, Helen. "We hadn't expected it to be so early in the year but this Unit became available and we fell in love with it".
The new space has allowed for an expanded team as RedFez continues to provide opportunities for neuro-diverse young people to get experience in the world of IT, thanks to its links with several local organisations, including Hull College.
"One of our team, Stephen, we met at the tech expo last year", explains Robin, who is the other director of the company and the chief techie. "He was looking for a placement as part of his course but was struggling to do as he is a wheelchair user. Our new location is ideal for him as we have ground floor access and lots of space. It's been great to have him on board and he is a great asset to us and our customers."
The new premises is intended to be a catalyst for further growth. "We also took a big contract at the beginning of the year", explains Helen "and we are building capacity for more. The new space is a part of that plan and our ability to house a bigger team of people is important too."
If you would like to pop down and visit, you are more than welcome. RedFez are based in Unit 50, Louis Pearlman Centre, 94 Goulton Street, Hull, HU3 4DL and the kettle is always on!
