On Friday, July 5th, 2024, the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Hull was bathed in vibrant hues of purple and pink to mark the 5th Hull and East Yorkshire People in Business Awards. This spectacular event shines a spotlight on the incredible talent driving businesses across the region, celebrating the individuals who make enterprises flourish.
This year's awards were especially significant as we celebrated our milestone 5th anniversary. The evening was filled with excitement as winners were announced across 13 diverse categories, chosen from over 150 outstanding nominations. The esteemed judging panel praised the exceptional quality of this year's nominees, highlighting the challenging task of selecting the winners.
The event was proudly supported by some of Hull and East Yorkshire's most successful and innovative companies, with Harrison Solway returning as the headline sponsor for the second consecutive year.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Sara Jayne Ireland of SJ Arts, honoring her remarkable 30-year contribution to the creative arts.
Looking ahead, we're thrilled to announce that the 6th Hull and East Yorkshire People in Business Awards (HEYPIBA) will be unveiled in January 2025. We eagerly anticipate another year of celebrating the region's business brilliance!
