ACA Sponsors Three Peak Challenge

Alessandro Caruso Architects (ACA), an architectural firm based in Beverley was a key sponsor of a care home group’s quest to conquer the UK’s three peaks.

In fact, ACA supported Millennium Care’s summer challenge which so far has raised £3,600 for Alzheimer’s Society.

Millennium Care, based in the North West, operate five care homes and is developing a sixth which ACA has designed.

To date, employees have raised £3,610 for Alzheimer’s Society, the UK’s largest collective force of people with unparalleled knowledge and experience of addressing the biggest challenges facing people living with dementia and could not have done it without the support of their key sponsors and public donations.

The team took on Snowdon in May, Scafell Pike in June, and finally Ben Nevis in July.

Amelia Caruso, Director at ACA, said:

“We were keen to support Millennium Care in raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and are proud of their accomplishments!  Our companies share similar values, which is reflected in our working relationship based on trust, communication and a desire to positively contribute to society.”

Omair Haider, Managing Director at Millennium Care, said:

“Without key sponsors, such as ACA, we wouldn’t have been able to have the impact we craved. Giving back to a charity so close to our hearts provides us with great comfort.

“Having the backing of organisations and individuals we work with on a day-to-day basis is important to us. We’re keen on creating longstanding partnerships with those who share our values and ethos and ACA certainly do that.”

Sue Clarke, Alzheimer’s Society Area Manager for Greater Manchester said:

“At Alzheimer’s Society we rely on the generous support of local organisations like Millennium Care. Around 900,000 people are currently living with dementia in the UK and one in three of us will go on to develop dementia in our lifetimes. But there is hope and the recent news about new drug therapies is a bright light at the end of a very dark tunnel. We’re so proud of Alzheimer’s Society’s role in funding the early years of that research. Our investment in research and innovation is made possible by the support of all kinds of organisations as well as thousands of individual fundraising endeavours across the country each year.

“We are committed to improving the lives of people currently living with the condition, while continuing to invest in research, product innovation, and calling on the Government to get diagnosis rates back up and on target. Thank you very much for your support and your fantastic Three Peaks fundraising efforts.”
