Employers who hire new apprentices from 1st April 2021 will now benefit from increased incentive payments as announced by Rishi Sunak in his budget earlier this month.
Employers will receive £3,000 for new employees of any age who start their apprenticeship from 1 April 2021 to 30 September 2021.
This incentive payment is in addition to the £1,000 employers already receive for hiring an apprentice who is aged 16-18 meaning that employers hiring 16-18-year-old apprentices from 1st April 2021 will receive a total of £4000.
With some of the best financial incentives there has been available to apprenticeship employers, there truly has never been a better time to hire an apprentice!
