“Although I’ve worked and lived in Hull for over 40 years, I’ve spent the past four years travelling around the world, working with international clients.
I knew as an experienced business owner and coach that I needed the support of a professional network to reconnect with local business, and when I first joined the business club, I did wonder whether I'd get good value from it? After only a couple of meetings, I quickly realised the group was refreshingly full oflike-minded people who were willing to give support and guidance, and my membership proved worthwhile from the start!
The special thing about The Business Culture Hull, which other groups based on standard networking arrangements don’t offer, is the dedicated and full-time support of Tony Bowler. Tony works tirelessly, meeting, getting to know and connecting members to create meaningful partnerships and priceless trusted contacts. It’s through this ‘extra’ aspect that I’ve been able to get to know and work with another Club member to the extent that we are now business partners, combining our experience, expertise and plans to grow our business, BYB Training, together.
We’ve established great relationships with a broad range of other local businesses and with a group of members with whom Elevated Elephant has particular synergies. As a group, we‘ve been able to set up lucrative collaborations and generate business worth over £250,000 bringing overseas reach as well.
The Business Culture Hull isn't just worth the membership fee; it's a genuinely premier business club bringing experience and worth to me, and scores of other businesses. There's a saying about effective group collaboration that ‘the whole is greater than the sum of its parts', in the case of The Business Culture Hull, the whole is pretty amazing, and the greater part is its unique business model and the support Tony provides."
