HullBID

HullBID, established in 2006, is an independent, not for profit organisation supporting and representing the interests of over 800 businesses across a multitude of sectors, with an aim of improving the trading environment.

We are funded by our members whose place of business sits within the Business Improvement District (BID) boundary, a geographically defined area covering Hull city centre.

Our strategy straddles four objectives... to help keep the city centre safer, help with cleanliness and graffiti removal,  host footfall-boosting events, and to act as a conduit sharing information on anything that affects city businesses and escalating issues businesses are facing with decision-makers.

We have a track record in the delivery of some fantastic, award-winning events bringing tens of thousands of visitors into Hull city centre including Hull Street Food Nights, Dino Day and Superhero Day, the Hulloween Steampunk Festival, and coming soon is our Trinity Festival Rebooted - a celebration of live music within city bars.

We work with many stakeholders including the council, the police and our local MP who sees Hull BID as a go-to organisation with a finger on the pulse of what businesses are experiencing at any given time.
