Therapists that learn together earn together

A new networking group aiming to help complementary therapists in Hull and East Yorkshire, grow their business will be held on Wednesday, 10 May from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Hallmark Hotel, North Ferriby.

Following a successful launch last month, organisers have set a monthly programme of events to provide a supportive environment with learning and networking opportunities.

Each event includes two guest speakers, whose experience and suggestions will help improve complementary therapy businesses.

The event on 10 May will include talks from Pam Medhurst, Yoga teacher- who will share how therapy helped her through recent health issues and Steve Elliott, web designer from Thrifysites on one-click automation for all of your social media platforms.

Organiser, Sheila Granger. She says:

“We identified a demand for support amongst complementary therapists who typically work on their own and within their own social circles. It can be difficult to find clients other than friends.”

“As with any business, training is essential to success and so we have sourced local people whose knowledge and experience can add value to our networking events.”

“Last month was our first session and we have already identified therapists who complement one another and will refer their clients on.”

“Anyone working in reflexology, aromatherapy, Reiki, beauty therapy and massage, or any other type of therapy work will be more than welcome to come along and meet us all.”

Tickets for the event are £10 and can be booked via an Eventbrite link on Sheila Granger’s Facebook business page.
