Most inspiring member of the month: MCS & Partners

The Business Culture Hull is pleased to announce that the ‘Most Inspiring Member of the Month (May)’ award goes to Matthew Sutcliffe from MCS & Partners.

The award is presented to the member who not only attends the networking events but has also taken advantage of all the other benefits on offer to all members such as, using the website to promote their good news stories and engaging with Tony Bowler, MD of The Business Culture Hull, in order to make new business connections.

The award was presented to Matthew in front of a packed audience at the last networking event at Airco on Wednesday 17th May.

Matthew was so delighted with the award!  He commented “I was delighted indeed to receive the award for Most Inspiring Member of The Business Culture (Hull). Created by Tony Bowler, The Business Culture is a networking group with a real difference – it combines culture and business as the name suggests and after all, we are based in the City of Culture 2017. A perfect and natural way to mix with business colleagues, to build new relationships and explore new ideas – all with more than a dash of arts and media thrown in. The mid-monthly events offer practical seminars on all aspects of improving your business performance from coaching to social media, from the sales dance to effective leadership. And the frequent social events include river dancing displays, ground-breaking short films, comedy and poetry – to mention but a few. Did I mention? There’s no need to get up at the crack of dawn to attend.

Getting the most from The Business Culture though, means more than attending the excellent networking events. I have worked closely with Tony Bowler since the network’s inception last year and watched it grow – I’m pleased and proud to have been some part of this as Tony’s business coach and sounding board. Getting involved in the website, working with members individually or as business partners has helped MCS & Partners become one of the fastest growing coaching businesses in the region.

The award sits proudly in my office – not just a feel good factor but a reminder that relationships are at the heart of any business enterprise – with your suppliers, your customers and clients and with the community you live and work in.

Cheers to all at The Business Culture for helping me to become and award winning coach!”
