Knock out Business Networking at Hull’s St Paul’s Boxing Club

Hull’s iconic St Paul’s Boxing Club will play host to one of the most anticipated events of the networking calendar on February 13th.

The Business Culture Hull have invited the business people of Hull to an evening of celebration for all that is great and good about the venue, in the hope that this great piece of Hull’s historic quarter can be restored to its former glory as the birth of some of the UK’s finest boxing champions.

The event comes with the backing of some of the city’s finest business men and women who have a desire to encourage sporting talent and build on the already great reputation Hull has for high achievers.

They will be asking guests for their support in helping plan its course as the next wonderful building to be transformed and restored in the centre of the city’s thriving tourist trail.

John Rutherford from John Good Travel, Tony and Andrew Horncastle from the Horncastle Group, David Garness from Garness Jones, Barrie G May from BGM Consulting, Shelagh Devereux from Alpha Connect and Mike Brumby of St Paul’s itself will welcome guests to the hotly anticipated event.

Tony Bowler, founder of The Business Culture Hull, says of the approaching event:

“When I was first approached by Darren Peacock, of Peacock Finance, to hold one of our business and cultural networking events at St Paul’s Boxing Club I jumped at the chance.

“I am expecting over 100 local business owners to attend.  Barrie May and Mike Brumby will share with the audience their vision for the future of St Paul’s and how the local community can help.  Alex Hall, a successful businessman from Hull who has been involved with St Paul’s for 20 years, will talk briefly about how St Paul’s has played a major role in his success.

“It’s going to be a great evening of celebration. Now, thanks to the wonderful backing and visionaries involved, we can start to see a new dawn for the boxing club, and a real opportunity for everyone to throw their hat into the ring and get involved. We can’t wait!”.”

Its organisers want to send a special thanks to the event sponsors, Peacock Finance, A & S Design Associates and Wines Online.
