A born businessman who launched the Belvoir property management franchise in Hull last year has been named a top winner in the national property specialists’ annual awards scheme.
Kuljeet Aujla, who at 23 is one of Belvoir’s youngest franchise owners, was presented with the Bronze ‘New Franchise of the Year’ award at the company’s ‘high achievers’ ceremony staged at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire.
Dorian Gonsalves, Belvoir’s Chief Operating Officer, paid tribute, saying “Kuljeet got off to a flying start in his new business by securing a deal to sell 18 apartments in the city’s modern and exciting Fruit Market development.
“ In a very short period he has established a strong business at his prominent city centre office and has made great strides forward in both residential lettings and property sales.
Kuljeet epitomises the drive, ambition and commitment we look for in successful Belvoir franchisees and this award is in recognition of what he has already achieved and the great promise he shows for the future development of his business.”
After receiving his award Kuljeet said: “It has been a great time to launch a well-respected and nationally known brand such as Belvoir in Hull because there is a lot of focus on the city.
“It is exciting to get recognised within the network so early on and the whole team is looking forward to what the future holds, especially as we look into launching new products such as our rent & legal guarantee for our landlords.
“I am thrilled to have won this award after my first year. I have always wanted to run my own business and get into property, so becoming a Belvoir franchisee has helped me achieve both my ambitions.”
