{"id":8069,"date":"2021-11-04T16:33:50","date_gmt":"2021-11-04T16:33:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebusinessculture.co.uk\/hey\/level-3-emergency-first-aid-at-work\/"},"modified":"2021-11-12T11:04:26","modified_gmt":"2021-11-12T11:04:26","slug":"level-3-emergency-first-aid-at-work","status":"publish","type":"member-offers","link":"https:\/\/thebusinessculture.co.uk\/hey\/member-offers\/level-3-emergency-first-aid-at-work\/","title":{"rendered":"Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday 6th December in Hull<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The course covers the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Roles and responsibilities of the first aider<\/li>\n<li>Minimising risk in an emergency situation<\/li>\n<li>Managing an unresponsive casualty<\/li>\n<li>Safe airway positions<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with seizures<\/li>\n<li>Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use of AEDs<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with choking<\/li>\n<li>Treatment for bleeding and shock<\/li>\n<li>Appropriate first aid kit use<\/li>\n<li>Minor injuries at work including burns<\/li>\n<li>Completing accident forms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Course Duration &amp; Assessment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The training and assessment typically consists of a one day (6+ hour) course leading to the qualification and students are assessed continuously by tutor observation of \u2018real-life\u2019 skills.<\/p>\n<p>This certificate is valid for three years.
