Offer: University of Hull\u2019s Flood Innovation Centre have a range of free services to help businesses and our communities become more resilient to flooding.<\/p>\n

Many businesses were affected by the Hull floods in 2007 and with climate change increasing the likelihood of further major flooding incidents, we want to help local businesses ensure they are protected and\/or help them develop new products or services that are related to flood resilience.<\/p>\n

If this of interest and you wish to find out more, then you are welcome to click on the link below and complete this short form. \u00a0Here are some questions for you to consider:<\/p>\n

  1. Do you know if you are in a flood risk area or near enough to one to be affected? <\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. If you were to have a flood in the near future do you know what impact it would have on your business? For example staffing no being able to get into work or damage to buildings\/products, impact on suppliers\/transport, etc?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please note this is a fully funded service that the University are offering to help and support businesses in the area to understand your risk and any needs. There\u2019s no cost at all to eligible local businesses that take part. Once you\u2019ve completed the form, a Flood Innovation Centre colleague will contact you to discuss your business\u2019 specific needs. Again, this is all funded and no cost to you, apart from your time.<\/p>\n
