We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. <strong>This is a permanent position with a salary up to \u00a333,000 DOE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Shift pattern \/ Working hours<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Monday to Friday 40 per week 8 am to 4:30pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Start date \/ Duration<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>CAD Technician <\/u><\/strong>will commence\u00a0with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around this.\u00a0 This is<strong> permanent position.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Job description<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and produce Quality CAD drawings and models using software such as AutoCAD, Audesk Inventer and Sketchup.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with colleagues and customers to understand project requirements and specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations by providing technical drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design processes.<\/li>\n<li>Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and best practices to enhance productivity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>What\u2019s in it for you?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Permanent position <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Competitive pay rate \u2013 <strong>Up to \u00a333,000 \u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>22 days holidays + bank holidays<\/li>\n<li>Great friendly and welcoming working environment<\/li>\n<li>Training opportunities \u2013 <strong>career progression<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The successful candidate:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD,<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in sketchup and Inventer would be advantageous .<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CAD Technician \u00a0 Working in partnership with a family run company in Hull.
