As an active participant in the web development community, David is a big believer in lifting others by sharing knowledge and giving support.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/theonepoint.co.uk\/storage\/app\/media\/news\/2022\/01\/all-books.jpg\" alt=\"Davids book collection\"><\/p>\n<p>David took his first steps on the way to becoming a published author back in November 2017, when Packt first approached him. The publisher is known in the tech industry for its technical guides that teach a wide selection of programming languages.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/theonepoint.co.uk\/storage\/app\/media\/news\/2022\/01\/book-one.jpg\" alt=\"david's first book\"><\/p>\n<p>This contact led to him co-authoring <a href=\"https:\/\/theonepoint.co.uk\/news\/post\/david-carr-becomes-packt-published-author-of-php-book\">his first book<\/a> \u2018Beginning PHP\u2019, which helped those new to the programming language gain a robust foundational understanding of the fundamentals.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/theonepoint.co.uk\/storage\/app\/media\/news\/2022\/01\/book-two.jpg\" alt=\"david's 2nd book\"><\/p>\n<p>A year later, David co-authored <a href=\"https:\/\/theonepoint.co.uk\/news\/post\/david-carr-publishes-2nd-php-book\">his 2nd book<\/a> \u2018The PHP Workshop\u2019 again with Packt. This book served as a coding guide that teaches practical hands-on examples of getting the most out of PHP.<\/p>\n<p>David\u2019s third book sees him taking on a whole new challenge as the single author for the work.<\/p>\n<p>We asked him what\u2019s next, and David replied, \u201cI have appreciated the support from The One Point and from the development community so much, it has really motivated me to keep going.
