Elliegantly Made is incredibly proud to share some wonderful news as we head towards the end of the year. We have been named a UK Top 50 Winner at the UK Small Business Awards 2025, placing in the Best Bakery category.<\/p>\n
The news arrived as a complete and very welcome surprise, landing in our inbox over the weekend and instantly turning an already lovely festive evening into something even more special. With this year\u2019s awards described as the toughest competition yet, being recognised at a national level is an honour that truly means the world.<\/p>\n
Running a small, independent bakery is about so much more than cake. It takes creativity, commitment, long hours, resilience and often working when everyone else is asleep. From wedding seasons that run back-to-back, to quieter moments spent developing new designs and flavours, every part of the journey is built on passion and pride in the work we do. Moments like this remind us why all of that effort is worthwhile.<\/p>\n
This latest recognition follows what has been an incredibly rewarding period for Elliegantly Made. Over the last couple of months alone, the business has been honoured with multiple industry awards, including Celebration Cake Specialist of the Year, East Yorkshire and the Customer Satisfaction Excellence Award at the Northern Enterprise Awards, as well as Handmade Wedding Baker of the Year 2025 and The Prestige Award for Handmade Bakery of the Year 2025.<\/p>\n
Each of these accolades is something we care deeply about: attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and providing a warm, personal experience for every customer. Whether it\u2019s a bespoke wedding cake, a corporate commission, a celebration cake marking a milestone, or a small but meaningful order, every bake is treated with the same level of care.<\/p>\n
None of this would be possible without the continued support of our wonderful customers, venues, suppliers and local business community. From those who have trusted us with their biggest celebrations, to those who recommend us, share our work or simply send kind messages of support, we are endlessly grateful.<\/p>\n
As Elliegantly Made begins to wind down for Christmas and take a moment to reflect on the year, this recognition feels like the perfect note to end on. We\u2019re excited to see what the next chapter holds and look forward to continuing to grow, create and celebrate alongside our customers in the year ahead.<\/p>\n
