ACA is proud to announce the opening of the £20 million Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in Scunthorpe, designed for the North Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. This state-of-the-art facility enhances local access to essential diagnostic services, such as MRI and CT scans, ultrasounds, and blood tests.

The CDC has earned international recognition, winning a World TAC Design Award. Its design prioritises patient comfort, drawing inspiration from ultrasound waves and incorporating features like a cantilevered terrace with a symbolic tree and calming landscaping.

Amelia Caruso, ACA's Client Service Director, expressed excitement about seeing the design come to life, while Co-Director Alex Caruso shared how the project embodies a balance of functionality and compassion, creating a space of hope and healing for the community.

The CDC marks a significant step in Scunthorpe’s healthcare transformation, improving access to care and reducing hospital visits, making it one of the UK's pioneering healthcare facilities. ACA is proud to contribute to this impactful project.
