{"id":1858,"date":"2016-07-21T17:19:18","date_gmt":"2016-07-21T17:19:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebusinessculture.co.uk\/hey\/?p=1858"},"modified":"2022-05-28T15:30:51","modified_gmt":"2022-05-28T15:30:51","slug":"end-to-end-cycle-challenge-by-chris-hutchinson-from-james-legal","status":"publish","type":"good-news","link":"https:\/\/thebusinessculture.co.uk\/hey\/good-news\/end-to-end-cycle-challenge-by-chris-hutchinson-from-james-legal\/","title":{"rendered":"End to End Cycle Challenge by Chris Hutchinson from James Legal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"line-height: 15.3pt; background: white; margin: 11.25pt 0cm 11.25pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #666666;\">Chris Hutchinson from <a href=\"http:\/\/jameslegal.co.uk\/\">James Legal Solicitor<\/a>s in Hull has taken on some challenges in his time, but this latest venture surely must take the biscuit!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.3pt; background: white; orphans: auto; widows: 1; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; word-spacing: 0px; margin: 11.25pt 0cm 11.25pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #666666;\">Having previously vowed never to run another marathon after he completed the London Marathon (he tells us that he was behind Mo Farrah in that race - a long, long, long way behind), especially after suffering the indignity of being overtaken by a rhinoceros at mile 20, Chris found himself on the starting line of the Hull Marathon last year!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.3pt; background: white; orphans: auto; widows: 1; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; word-spacing: 0px; margin: 11.25pt 0cm 11.25pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #666666;\">So in an attempt to avoid a similar fate in 2016, Chris has committed himself, and his put-upon son, Pete, to do a cycle ride this year in August:  Lands\u2019 End to John O\u2019Groats (a whopping 995 miles!). This is despite having done a \u2018practice run\u2019 at the beginning of June - the Transpenine trail from Southport next to the Irish Sea, to Hornsea on the East Coast \u2013 during which Chris did 72 miles on the last day in the biting wind and rain.
