{"id":1852,"date":"2016-07-18T14:29:48","date_gmt":"2016-07-18T14:29:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebusinessculture.co.uk\/hey\/?p=1852"},"modified":"2022-05-28T15:31:06","modified_gmt":"2022-05-28T15:31:06","slug":"amy-sharpless-passed-with-flying-colours","status":"publish","type":"good-news","link":"https:\/\/thebusinessculture.co.uk\/hey\/good-news\/amy-sharpless-passed-with-flying-colours\/","title":{"rendered":"Amy Sharpless \u2013 Passed with Flying Colours!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Amy, from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.majors.co.uk\/\">Majors Chartered Accountants<\/a> in Hull, received her final exam results this morning (July 17th 2016), at one minute past midnight to be precise.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, she passed with flying colours\u2026. 77% on her Taxation Exam.!!<\/p>\n<p>Stuart MacGregor, director, is pleased to report the Amy tells him that she has decided that she will be staying at Majors to progress her career with us, a decision which has been eagerly and delightedly received by everyone here.<\/p>\n<p>It will be a few weeks to progress her application to become a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.<\/p>\n<p>Amy will then be able to use the designatory letters ACCA, MAAT after her name, she is already a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.<\/p>\n<p>As for the future, after two years of post-qualification experience, Amy intends to apply for a Practising Certificate which will allow her to be a partner or director of a firm that undertakes public practice work.<\/p>\n<p>And, in the meantime, she intends to write her dissertation.
