{"id":20979,"date":"2025-01-29T09:08:00","date_gmt":"2025-01-29T09:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebusinessculture.co.uk\/hey\/events\/fire-ice-walk\/"},"modified":"2025-01-29T09:08:00","modified_gmt":"2025-01-29T09:08:00","slug":"fire-ice-walk","status":"publish","type":"events","link":"https:\/\/thebusinessculture.co.uk\/hey\/events\/fire-ice-walk\/","title":{"rendered":"Fire &amp; Ice Walk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Join us to walk on Fire and (or) Ice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u><strong>The Firewalk<\/strong><\/u><br \/>Firewalking\u00a0is the practice of\u00a0<strong>walking barefoot on hot embers at a temperature of up to 1200\u00baF<\/strong>\u00a0(that\u2019s 650\u00a0\u00baC!).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After a comprehensive training seminar from UK\u00a0Firewalk, you will be led out to the fire and walk safely across the burning embers!<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>The Ice Walk<\/strong><\/u><br \/>Glass walking is also known as \u201cIce walking\u201d and is completely different to fire walking. Hundreds of broken and sterilised bottles are laid out, then you place your foot on the razor-sharp glass and walk confidently across.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is just \u00a330 for one challenge or \u00a340 for both and we\u2019re asking everyone to fundraise at least \u00a3100 for one challenge of \u00a3150 if you're planning on doing both.<\/p>\n<p>We ask that everyone is at target or near by the day of the event.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Family and friends of participants are invited to spectate\u00a0(depending on capacity)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Age Restrictions<\/strong><br \/>Ideally the walkers should be over the age of 11 years old.
